25 November, 2015: International Conference on Development of Nursing Curriculum to Improve the Quality of Nursing Education: Islamic Values and International Perspectives

The Conference was jointly organized by Universitas Muhammadiyah Gorontalo, North Sulawesi, Indonesia. IIIT resource person, Prof. Dr. Zahrah Saad, the Dean of the Faculty of Nursing of MAHSA University, Kuala Lumpur was invited as a main resource person. The conference was officiated by the Rector of Prof. Dr. Nelson Pomalingo and Deputy Governor of Gorontalo, Dr. Abdurrahim. The program was attended by the Deans and lecturers from the different faculty of health sciences and nursing of Muhammadiyah Universities in Indonesia, 14 STIKES Aisyiyah, 40 Faculty of Health Sciences, Nursing and Midwifery of Muhammadiyah Universities.


Prof. Zahrah Saad has attracted the great attention of the participants in presenting her paper on "Development of Nursing Curriculum to Improve the Quality of Nursing Education based on Islamic Values". She has fulfilled the need and expectation of the faculty members and participants. The session was continued with the workshop attended by the participants from 14 STIKES Aisyiyah and 40 Faculties of Health Sciences and Nursing  on the follow up program on Curriculum Reform and Textbook writing.
